Infant and child care is a necessity for working moms and dads. When it comes to picking a child care facility for your child, you want nothing but the best for them. Children’s Campus is proud to offer three (soon to be four) 5-star rated preschool and child care centers in North Carolina. As a parent, you may be wondering what it takes to earn a 5-star rating as a preschool, so we are here to tell you.
Every preschool or child care center should have a license. The Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE) determines the rating of each center’s license. A rating is given based upon the evaluation of program standards, and staff education. Centers can also earn a “quality point” for having enhanced standards.
For each area evaluated, one to seven points are received. Based on the total number of points, the star rating is determined. The breakdown of points in relation to star rating is as follows:

All three of Children’s Campus’ locations are 5-star. Our teachers continually work to further their education and exceed expectations.
