Helping Your Preschooler Adjust to Daylight Savings Time

preschoolers and daylight savingsAdjusting to the time changes in the fall and spring can be challenging for adults – but your toddler or preschooler can really feel it too!  We tend to be triggered by so many cues in our environment… light vs. darkness, meal times, or simply being aware of the time on the clock.  So gaining or losing an hour (and not getting it back) causes our bodies to really fight to maintain the sleep schedule to which we’ve been accustomed.
